About the Therapists

Pamela Harms, LPC/LCPC/NCC

Pamela Harms is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Kansas. She holds a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and is a certified Prepare Enrich facilitator, EMDRIA-certified EMDR therapist, certified Synergetic Play therapist, and level 2 trained Gottman couples therapist. In addition to her love for psychology and counseling, Pamela has a passion for music and theology, which were the focus of her Bachelor’s Degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Associates degree from Christ for the Nations Institute. Before beginning to work as a counselor, Pamela taught piano for over 20 years and volunteered with several ministries and nonprofit organizations.

Pamela is a wife, mother of 2 teenage girls, and is obsessed with collecting and reading books. If she is not with a client, you might find her curled up with a cup of tea and her latest read, chasing sunsets with her girls, playing her heart out at her grand piano, or enjoying boba and deep conversation with a friend. Pamela believes that we are all on a shared journey and is honored to support her clients on their paths to greater wholeheartedness.

My name is Hugo Lorenzo, and I am passionate about helping individuals and families find healing, growth, and purpose through a Christ-centered approach to counseling. I graduated from Missouri Valley College with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Community Counseling at the same institution.

As a 26-year-old from Brazil, my faith in Jesus is at the heart of everything I do. I love exploring the connection between theology and psychology, capturing life’s beauty through photography, and staying active through sports. I believe that integrating faith and evidence-based counseling practices provides a unique and powerful way to address life’s challenges.

I feel honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their journeys toward healing and wholeness. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your story, uncover your strengths, and move toward the life God has called you to live. Whether you’re seeking guidance, encouragement, or tools to overcome obstacles, I am here to support you every step of the way.
